Your Hosts

The Caffeine Fueled Creative Podcast started as a pet project by Chopsy, but after years of starting and stopping finally got a format to stick. But it stayed as a pet project until he interviewed Sam Fortner.

The chemistry between Chopsy and Sam was instantly noticeable, so after a short conversation, they agreed that Sam should come on as co-host, and that’s where we are today.

And now, a little about your hosts…

Sam Fortner

Sam Fortner was born in the middle of the desert, twenty minutes after midnight in a snowstorm. Sam graduated high school while homeless, moving on to do more different jobs than can be counted on the standard humans fingers and toes. He now has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in illustration.

While earning that degree he was the cartoonist for the campus paper producing two strips, “Please Don’t Shush Me” and “Caught on Campus”, one of which featured a piece that was highlighted on the local news. Before that, he studied karate in Japan and taught English in China.

He is now working on his own comic series, “Kitty Ears” which is a wordless fantasy comic about him and his dog, Xuch. He loves drawing, carving wood, smoking, and scary movies. And being a silly goose.
